Albacore: '2 The Melody' (208)

Albacore has explored new fields in music engaging the true master in UKG style Mokujin and the incomparable genius of Sondi for the garage house single called '2 The Melody'. The track we're talking about is a "sincere groove" one, it adds together the power of a soul sample (heart melting female vocal) and the throbbing clicking of raw drums. A year after, part of the whole collective decided to join a Summer Compilation project again. This time the 'Made in Italy' theme suggests us to work on lounge vibes "all'italiana" as we use to say. Due to the styles, any approach of our artists is different but incredibly fresh in regard to the sound. Thank to Quiet Chaos, Hunter, Voodoo Whiskey, James Claremont, Kéo Sapha, Full Level, Sondi!, Liquid Pegasus, Albacore, Mr. Coquedeux, Tommy Vicari Jnr, Brookside Chase and Starlet Nitez which have made it possible. This new single from our MSR 2_ serie is what you need to go back to the dancefloor. Julian DJ aka J Sweet, from France, is a true master in making people dance as his soulful tune proves, with a great mellow sample turned into a jazzy moving track. A different style then for remixes by Brassfoot and Albacore, which extends the vibes thanks to several fxs such as reverbs and filters, lower and higher bpm. We're back. After two months since our last release we're very glad to launch our new season giving you all the ultimate love crush song by Albacore for free. 'Blaze In My Heart' gathers any stylistic elements of our "self confessed Hollywood fanatic" founder: extremely sweet vocals, dynamic drum sets, a reverberd and phasered samples treatment. Groove Pool: 'Make It Better' (203)

Midnight Side is back with a new 2_ single release for Summer. This time it's up to Groove Pool, our latest new entry, a true grooves hunter from Newcastle (UK). The result of our collaboration is 'Make It Better', a piping hot tune which brings up to date the old flavour of disco music. You are going to listen to a magic strings and piano combination, accompanied by incisive bassline and memorable singing. It includes a bunch of great remixes by Kéo Sapha, As Sampson and Albacore for different styles from Garage to French House.

Midnight Side launches its 10_ serie with the first EP by Albacore, two young guys that love to spend their summer eating watermelons and having fun at the fair rather than swimming or getting tan. 'Let's All Watch Andie Walsh' contains original tracks which reflect all those feelings you can have when you pass an exam or get your first kiss, music that takes back in time nostalgic people, good birthday songs but also dancing beats.
